Cooking Style: The kitchen is the heart of Highland Ranch. We welcome guests to walk in the kitchen which has been a happy and mouth-watering place to be for many years.
Rob appreciates having the bounty of fresh ingredients both from Highland Ranch and from the Anderson Valley with which to work. He enjoys being a part of the rich culinary tradition of Northern California and producing simple and healthful yet wholesome and tasty dishes. Anchored in his Sountern roots, Rob borrows from a variety of European and Asian flavors to achieve his impressive results. Rob is an avid baker of all kinds of breads, cakes and, while his barbecued ribs, beans and corn bread are second to none, his vegetarian and lighter fare is not to be missed!
