After a full day of physical activity, our guests can unwind on the front porch with breathtaking views of the Sawtooths, enjoy a good glass of wine or a cold specialty beer, snack on hors d'oeuvres and await a multi course fine dining experience in our rustic log dining room. Our cuisine strives to be innovative without being pretentious, rustic with modern presentation, using fresh ingredients from Idaho and beyond. Four fine dining nights offer interesting salad courses, decadent appetizers, and uniquely flavorful soups that prelude a range of entrees such as Diver scallops with a red Thai Curry and cashew crust, grilled New York strip with local morels and housemade sweet potato ravioli with wild sage butter. A weekly dinner barbeque offers an assortment of cold salads, corn on the cob, and applewood smoke-roasted meats such as pork ribs, beef brisket and, of course, barbeque chicken, everybody's favorite. Once a week, dinner is served family style in the dining room, where guests pass around a variety of entrees and sidedishes served on quaint platters and bowls. Dutch oven night rounds out a week of dining experiences at the ranch. Guests take a horse driven wagon to a remote site to indulge in a multitude of dishes cooked in cast iron, just like the pioneers of old. All breads and desserts are made daily in our bakery and encompass the entire spectrum of decadence to satisfy any sweet tooth. Home churned carmel ice cream, Idaho Peach pie, and chocolate espresso cake are just some of the desserts you will enjoy.
We encourage our guests to experience the beautiful outdoors of the Sawtooth Wilderness to the fullest and therefore do not offer lunch in the main lodge. A creative pack lunch menu is available, however, from which guests can choose items such as a meat loaf sandwich on a fresh baked roll with homemade barbeque sauce, cold fried chicken with a buttered roll and homemade pickle, or grilled vegetable sandwich on focaccia bread, just to name a few. Lunches include fruit, cookies, trail mix, wheatberry salad and a drink. There's nothing better than to enjoy a tasty, hearty lunch while hiking in the great wide open of Idaho.
We offer a full a la carte breakfast complete with daily specials and a continental buffet that includes fresh fruit, homemeade pastries and granola. Daily breakfast specials range from eggs benedict and chorizo and egg tacos to plantain bread french toast and ricotta pancakes with real maple syrup. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day to provide the energy for your daily adventures, and we guarantee that ours will satisfy any hunger.
