Dinner begins with cocktails in the Elk Lodge or on the deck overlooking our vast, fertile meadow. A delightful glass of wine with our light and savory hors d'oeuvres prepares the palate for the multi-course dinner awaiting the guests. Our menu highlights naturally and locally raised lamb, elk, bison, pheasant, or trout. We will gladly prepare sumptuous vegetarian entrees, gluten-free, or specialty meals for guests with dietary restrictions. Our Chef's cuisine and signature dishes are made with produce from our organic garden and are complemented with fine wines from SFR's extensive wine cellar. Meals at Smith Fork Ranch are far more than an occasion for replenishing the energy spent in an active day. We try to make every meal at the Smith Fork Ranch a relaxing event that embellishes your time spent with us.

After a morning of fly-fishing, horseback riding, hiking or archery, guests pick up their picnic baskets and select a place for a relaxing lunch - our most popular are pond side, on the lawn, near the river, or on their cabin porch. This gourmet basket lunch is ordered the night before and consists of substantial sandwiches, homemade salads and pasta sides, fruit, and fresh baked cookies.
Hearty breakfasts are served in the rustic Dinner Bell Cookhouse, where guests are treated to strawberry topped corn-cakes, made-to-order eggs and omelets, southwest breakfast quesadillas and Rocky Mountain Elk Sausage. All eggs. produce, and meats are purchased locally and hand selected by our Executive Chef. Coffee lovers will savor their morning brew made from our locally-roasted North Fork Valley coffee beans. We also provide a fine selection of teas.
The Hodgson family's long standing interests and relationships in the wine industry have yielded a private cellar of superior wines from the U.S. and abroad - more than 250 selections.
